Originally from Hawke’s Bay, Cam knew he had ADHD and was ready to deal with it. He did everything “right”, saw his GP, completed the paperwork, and was referred to a private clinic in Auckland.

Then nothing happened.

He waited six months just to hear back. Six months of silence after doing exactly what the system asked. It became clear the problem wasn’t effort — the system itself was broken, especially for people with ADHD.
